Cannes Lions Festival

We are very happy to announce that we will be showcasing Sutrue at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity this June. As one of only seven exhibitors to be invited to this world class event, it’s a great opportunity for us to demonstrate all the Sutrue devices to date. This includes the latest version of the Endo and various handheld devices.

(Images from left to right: the components of the endoscopic head, the small handheld device and an illustrative 3D printed heart and brain).

We will certainly be in good company in Cannes. The other companies who are exhibiting include IBM, Google, Twitter, Validic, Annalect and iVenturesHealth.

Cranfield AILU Event

Mr Richard Trimlett and Alex Berry will once again take to the stage as part of the Association of Industrial Laser Users event at Cranfield University, Bedfordshire. The event will focus on Laser Additive Manufacturing (AM) and will include 3D printer manufacturers, materials experts and academics. A tour of the Cranfield AM facility will also take place.

Alex and Mr Trimlett will give an overview of Integrating 3D printed materials in medical device prototyping. They will describe our automatic Suturing device and how 3D printing has enabled its development. They will also provide insight into how laser sintering has provided some of our highest precision components.
